His strategic vision has been pivotal in Akums' expansion, both domestically and internationally.

Under his leadership, Akums has achieved significant milestones, such as securing the 487 spot in Fortune 500 India 2023-24 reflecting the company's dedication to pharmaceutical excellence. Sunil Kumar Thakur is a Non-Executive Director of our company, He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Thames Valley University and a master's degree in International Business from the University of Delhi.

Currently, he is a partner at Quadria Capital Advisors Private Limited, where he oversees investments, portfolio management, and divestment activities across South Asia. With over 21 years of expertise in private equity and investment banking across South and Southeast Asia, he has successfully led multiple award-winning deals in M&A, capital markets, and project finance. He is a co-founder of HealthQuad, India’s largest digital health venture capital fund, and serves on the boards of leading healthcare and pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, he acts as an advisor to prominent institutions in the healthcare industry.

Mr. Thakur is the founding director and national lead of the NATHealth Foundation, a subsidiary of NATHEALTH, India’s apex healthcare industry body. Previously, he served as Treasurer of NATHEALTH and is a member of the CII National Committee on Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals.
